Maria is a passionate speaker and digital enthusiast.
As the Global Head of Media & Advertising at Montblanc, Maria oversees the global media and advertisement strategy for 22 markets across all online and offline channels, is dedicated to digitally transform the luxury maison while enabling a seamless user journey and full Marketing funnel.
As Team Lead Online Marketing at Amazon, Maria was responsible for the Marketing and Communications strategy for premium brands on Amazon across Germany, Italy and Spain. She managed strategic market initiatives, global promotions e.g. Cyber Week or Prime Day to improve the business while managing external partners, the Amazon Media Group relations and internal stakeholders.
Maria is an alumni of the London School of Economics and Rocket Internet where she worked as Head of Communications for Southeast Asia at Zalora (Asian Zalando), driving the business and all brand relations across 7 markets. Maria is very passionate about the digitalization across various industries - from start-ups to luxury maisons with a unique growth mindset. She has strong expertise in digital and offline Marketing, digital transformation as well as B2B and B2C consumer Marketing and management.

As part of Frederike Probert's (Founder of Mission Female) book, I contributed a piece of advice to young women, outlining how having a clear vision, defining your own values and setting clear goals will lead you to success.

Hinterland of Things conference connects the German Mittelstand (Oetker, Bertelsmann, Miele and many more) with investors and startups to facilitate change in that region. I had the pleasure to discuss trends in B2B Marketing together with Florian Heinemann from Project A ventures.
Pinterest Inspired in Germany celebrated the launch of the German market for advertisement and invited top speakers and brands to discuss on their media integration of Pinterest. I had the pleasure to join a panel with Philipp Westermeyer from OMR, Marc Opelt/ Marketing Management Board for Otto and Florian Gmeiner/ Marketing Director at Lego.
The global business network D:Pulse was started following the motto of “It’s about context, not about content”. After the realignment, the kick-off event was held on August 21st in Zurich with many events in Vienna, Berlin, Asia and the US to follow. At the event I spoke about female leadership together with the Mission Female Network as well as Vera Schneevoigt, CDO at Bosch.
